Expense accounts

Specific expense can be applied to different departments.

For example, Fruits can be used in Main Restaurants for food cooking, in Playa Bar for fresh juice preparing, in Reception as greeting meal and in Rooms as complimentary meal and as greeting meal, for dining of personnel etc.

The same pear can be used for all those purposes however it differently match to revenue which corresponds to different types of services.

As the same pear will be transferred in different departments and for different purposes from central warehouse and as it is bought centrally, the only Pear account is used for expense accounting (the same as one Pear account is used for inventory accounting).

This scheme can be changed according to requirements of local legislation (e.g. for separation of accounting in the purposes of Corporate Tax accounting).

To match specific Business Function (related or non-related to revenue types) to expense types (which reflect in specific Accounts of Chart of Accounts) use additional maps. Such maps show direct cost and non-direct cost for Business Functions, and also structure of costs.
