Installation

Start working with Teide is from installation of the system and running of the system.

When you run Teide for the first time, the system requests you to specify connection to the database.

Teide attempts connecting to MS SQL server on the same computer where Teide is ran. If MS SQL Server installed on other server – please specify it. If you don’t have MS SQL Server installed – please install MS SQL Server.

Note: Installation of MS SQL Server and Teide
  • Download MS SQL Server Express. It is light and free version of Database Server MS SQL Server. MS SQL allows managing of databases. It is provide comprehensive functionality with non-material limitations.

    Note: you will have to register your profile in Microsoft site

  • Install MS SQL Server Express

  • Install Teide

  • Run Teide

    If you run Teide for the first time, Teide tries using of installed MS SQL Server on your computer, and then Teide proposes to create new database. You can use it for your needs and also Teide will create couple of own tables.
